About Me

I'm Daniel, a business graduate turned UX student, blending strategy with empathy to craft user experiences.

My passion for design started young, experimenting in Paint and Photoscape on my cousin's old PC. Since then, that playful curiosity has grown into a deep interest in digital design, accessibility, and the way humans interact with the internet.

Now, I’m looking to build a career in UX, focused on clean layouts, inclusive design, and constant learning.

Skills & Tools

As a UX designer, I bring together research, design thinking, and visual execution with modern tools. I also enjoy experimenting with AI to design smarter and ship faster — even with my basic coding skills, AI makes it fun and empowering.

Projects

Camping Supply App

Part of the Google UX Design Certificate. A mobile-first app for a local camping store with no digital presence.

The Challenge

The store owner wanted an app that felt just as supportive as their in-store experience, one focused on helping customers, not just pushing sales.

User Insight

Through research, I learned that while major brands sold plenty of gear, they offered little support for campers. Most tips stopped at how to pitch a tent.

My Approach

I focused on building something human-centered, adding:

  • A blog and trail guide for beginner-friendly advice
  • Real-time support features for ongoing help
  • Simple, intuitive access to gear for confident shopping

Outcome

The prototype balanced function, discovery, and empathy, and showed me the power of designing for people, not just products.

Canary Woof

A personal project to support local dog owners through thoughtful, individualized care — designed and developed by me.

The Idea

As someone who loves spending time with dogs, I often help friends care for their pets — especially those with anxiety, medical needs, or specific routines. This inspired me to create a space where others could reach out too.

The Mission

Many pet sitting platforms offer a generic experience. I wanted to build something focused on individual dog care, centered on trust, transparency, and communication.

Design Focus

  • Friendly, approachable brand and layout
  • Lightweight, fast, and mobile-friendly experience

Outcome

This small website helped build trust with new clients and gave me a platform to turn my passion into a local side gig.

Your London Host (Work in Progress)

A work-in-progress site built for a friend who rents 3 beautiful flats in central London. The goal: reduce Airbnb's rising fees and offer direct bookings.

The Problem

My friend, an Airbnb Superhost, found that rising platform fees were cutting into her income. She wanted a simple, modern site where clients could book directly and avoid third-party charges.

My Role

I created the layout, styling, and responsive design using AI Development. The next step is finding a booking system that fits her needs and supports calendar syncing.

Status

This project is still in development — but you can explore a live prototype to see the progress so far.
